Shared Services Administrator
About the Role
This is a Fixed Term position for 3 months - 17 hours per week.
Wednesday & Thursday plus 3 hours Friday afternoon.
As a Shared Services Administrator, reporting to the Shared Services Coordinator, you will be part of a medium sized finance team that supports functions across the Shared Services Centre (SSC) and St John Ambulance as a whole. You will be responsible for processing a wide range of financial transactions, including sales invoices, purchase invoices, expenses claims, account reconciliation work and inputting financial data into a wide range of systems.
We are looking for someone with experience of using an accounts package and is interested in helping us develop and streamline our processes to improve the work we do.
We are specifically looking for someone who is a great communicator, with a good understanding of financial principles, who can hit the ground running in a busy and fast paced environment.
St John Ambulance works at the heart of communities, providing first aid, keeping people safe at events and working alongside the NHS in response to 999 calls. Much of our front-line delivery is provided by our dedicated and highly-trained volunteers.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of people, many of them under 18, also learn how to save a life through our training, education and youth programmes.
