About the Role
It’s a really exciting time to join our Fundraising team, we have new Leadership driving an ambitious strategy to increase fundraising revenue exponentially and we are growing the team significantly…there has never been a better time to develop your fundraising career at St John Ambulance.
This role is key in driving change in the way we identify prospect funding sources. You will create and develop a prospect research function within our Fundraising team, where you will implement and embed a best practice approach to systems, processes and identifying opportunities, enabling the fundraising team to meet its ambitious fundraising targets.

This is a key role within our fundraising team. As you will be developing a prospect researching function, you must have similar experience in a role conducting research and due diligence checks. You will be a strong relationship builder as you will be working with teams across the organisation and working with multiple stakeholders.
St John Ambulance works at the heart of communities, providing first aid, keeping people safe at events and working alongside the NHS in response to 999 calls. Much of our front-line delivery is provided by our dedicated and highly-trained volunteers.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of people, many of them under 18, also learn how to save a life through our training, education and youth programmes.
Over the next decade, we have bold ambitions to help transform out-of-hospital care, having a positive impact on the people we treat, the communities we serve, and our own people.
