Duke of Edinburgh's Award
Are you aged 14 to 24? Do you like a challenge? Then the Duke
of Edinburgh's Award could be for you!
The Duke of Edinburgh’s award is all about getting out there,
having fun and self-development. Combining first aid, fitness,
volunteering and expedition elements, the award has something for
everyone and helps you gain new skills, experiences and

helping people in your local community and even taking part in a
residential activity (Gold only). When successfully completed, you
can gain a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award.

Become a Duke of Edinburgh's Award Leader through St John
As a volunteer Duke of Edinburgh's Award Leader, you'll mentor
and support our young people through the award programme - all
while having fun! You'll be able to design your own role, whether
that's providing more 'behind-the-scenes' support or using your
skills such as a Mountain Leader qualification to organise an
expedition in Snowdonia.
